We had a wonderful time at the Caribbean ice show! I even took a turn down the ice slide. Very beautiful hand carved ice sculptures including a submarine to go into! Rainforest wasn't as exciting as last time we went.. no big cat, just birds and one monkey on the loose. All other animals were in aquaria, or cages.

9 people in our family ages 6-60 enjoyed the holiday pass a few days before thanksgiving. We were all in Houston from out of town and we're thrilled by the challenges of the ropes course and the zipline. While the taller family members were on the big ropes course, the shorter ones were supervised by a park employee on the... More

This is the best place I have visited in a very long time. The ice palace was out of this world. Be sure and take gloves, hats, earmuffs, DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS. LOL. I Loved this whole place. Going back tonight for the lights, rainforest and Dino exhibition. Will let you know how it is.

Aquarium is in midst of over haul so not much to see. It was very disappointing. The ice house was small but interesting. The best was the rainforest...we really enjoyed plants and animals.

It was such an amazing experience. Fun for all ages. Everyone was very nice and informative. There is plenty to do. Just remember to be well rested before you go. There is a new adventure around every turn.

We purchased 1 day passes on-line. It seems to be the most economical way to visit the park. It included 1 visit to each- 3D movie (we saw a full length Finding Dory), 4D movie short (beware-you may get wet), Aquarium (under construction, but the big tank is viewable), Rainforest, paddleboat ride (about an hour), Carribean Ice Sculpture (very cool!),... We drove in from DFW area for a Thanksgiving getaway, after calling a couple of times prior to deciding where to have dinner, it would be at the Moody Gardens buffet. The representatives of the hotel/restaurants gave us a price, via phone calls, but when the bill came, it was totally different (more than expected.) My husband was not going... More

My wife and kids went here for Festival of Lights a couple of weeks ago. We bought annual passes in August (which I recommend you doing if you are going to visit more than once) so there was very little out of pocket expense. However, if you are having to shell out money of your own... I would think about... More

We saw only two of the attractions--Rainforest and aquarium. Senior discounts on Tuesday. Aquarium pyramid was under construction but was still beautiful. Rainforest had a great collection of plants and animals.
