I got to visit Moody Gardens in February, on a school day, so NO LINES! There is much to see and having NO LINES really helps you do just that. Even with a slightly late start, we were able to fit in a 3-D and...More

We visited just after Christmas and it was quite beautiful. Definitely a place to take children. The aquarium is fine but the outside grounds were all lit up for Christmas. It was a pleasant area to walk through.

Enjoyed the time at Moodys. It is a slightly upscaled version of the Eden Project in the UK. Good layouts and options. It is worth a day out. At the end went onto the rope and zip line and that helped finish the day well....More

Nice place but I believe overpriced. I was there in what I would call the "off season." Still lots to do but since I was attending a convention, that is all I did. Convention food was good. Enjoyed our time and the people that we...More

We only went to the Rainforest Museum and it was worth it. Really knowledgeable staff and interesting. Our family really enjoyed the visit.

We did the penguin animal encounter. Tour lasted about an hour into the penguin exhibit, but the best part was getting to see hendrix the penguin up close - and getting to pet him! we came out smelling horrible, so plan to have a change...More

It is a bit expensive. Try to book online. They have seasonal special passes you can but, instead of adding all the single attractions. If you plan to ride the ferry, try not to have rain. Or they also might not drive. We loved it...More

Went for a cheer competition in the off season and wondered around and looked at everything. This is a place that has lots to offer and would be a must visit.

We were told about he Moody Garden Lights at nightfall. The parking was easier than we thought and display of lights was good but not great. Gaylord Lights in Grapevine is far better and more entertaining. Food vendors are scarce. The path was not well...More

That's one reason we bought 2 day "all inclusive" pass as it allowed both 3D movies. Pretty sure it's unlimited entries as well but not 100% sure.

You do get a picture ID for each member. It is good for one year for almost all the attrractions. You can go as many times as you want. It is a great deal!
