We had a great time at the gardens. The rainforest exhibit had allot of animals that were free to roam . The aquarium is still under construction , but it looks like it will be allot larger once they finish.

We were here for the TASCO Soccer Convention. Everything went well from check in to departure. The rooms were well appointed and sparkling clean. The grounds were beautiful. The bar was busy, but they took care of us and even served us appetizers from the...More

Went to moody gardens on a Friday morning, during Galveston off season. Not very busy at all. The rainforest pyramid was very interesting experience, it was like walking through the rainforest. Birds flying around and you see bats and fish, turtles, reptiles. Butterflies, and different...More

Went to visit the Aquarium with some out of town friends. The Moody Gardens website PLAINLY states that all aquarium exhibits are open, even though they are renovating. So off we go, only to be told when we get to Moody that we have to...More

This was OK. Personally I've been to more exciting ventures. It's pretty good for young kids. Theres a point in which they do a biblical sorry involving audio in conjunction with light frames that lasts about 10 minutes. Creativity points for that. Other than that,...More

I went to the Rainforest only because everything else was closed or under renovations. Walking through initially I thought I wasted my money but once I entered I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the ability to walk with the animals and take pictures of them....More

We always make sure to go to Moody Gardens when in Galveston. For the money it has everything. Rainforest, Aquarium, movies, and the new water park! The kids love it. There is good food and always plenty to keep you interested.

A little disappointing to be honest. The rain forest pyramid was quite good (the butterflies were the highlight) but looked a little tired, while the aquarium was closed. The restaurant was shut and the food offered in the cafe not particularly inviting. We certainly wouldn't...More

Brought our visitors from Germany here, they absolutely loved it and made their visit to Galveston. The staff are very helpful. Getting a bit expensive these days.

We have not seen any holiday shows yet this year but the magic show and the festival/trail of lights are must sees every year. Both are at Moody Gardens.
