The walk to the ferry was 5 min. We rode the ferry just a little before sunset and saw dolphins and the sun set on the ocean, a perfect start to the trip. The entire FREE adventure was about 45 min round trip.

It’s not fast... but the ferry gets you there. Be sure to check TXDOT website before you go to find out about delays and wait times.

We travel to Galveston from oklahoma every year for cruises and always ride the ferry's. The kids love it and the only downside is long lines but it's to be expected considering it's a ferry

Had a fun ride to the beach in Bolivar. As always the staff on the ferry was professional and watching the porpoises jump beside the ferry is always exciting!
