I'll be generous and give this one an average rating, but truthfully, unless you're strolling around Georgetown anyway and have 20 minutes to kill, it's hardly worth seeing. The museum tells some of Georgetown's history through panels on the wall that you need to stand...More

Interesting and informative history of Williamson County and Texas in general. The trunk display is excellent for kids and travels to schools and local clubs. A real jewel on the square and is guarded by none other than 3-legged Willie. No charge for experiencing history!

As others have said, it is a small museum, but with some interesting facts about the county, particularly during the war years. It doesn't take long to go though and it is worth a visit.

This is a free museum on the Georgetown square which gives some insight into the history of Williamson county, Tx. It depicts some of the artifacts and pictures of earlier times. This museum is a must for residents and a short diversion for visitors. Recommended.
