Quaint little town. Boutique stores, restaurants, old-fashion soda fountain and don't miss the Pie Peddler Shop. Walking distance to the Riverwalk.

Glen Rose is a charming town. It is the county seat of Somerville County. The square is surrounded by shops and dining.

Downtown Glen Rose has so much to offer. From a small museum, shops and restaurants, you can’t go wrong. Most people don’t know that we have a quaint square because they never venture to the old downtown located off of HWY 67 or Barnard Street...More

Such a neat town. Cute shops, restaurants, nice people. A fun little day trip or weekend get away. Nearby is Fossil Rim and Dinosaur valley state park. Fun for kids and adults alike.

We were there on a Monday and unfortunately lots of the stores were closed. We did enjoy the places that were open, very friendly.

Nice Historic Park in the center of old Glen Rose. Saturday was nice because venders come to the square to sell products at the Farmer's Market a tradition since the 1880's. Small shops, restaurants, and a Museum line the streets around the Courthouse.

I saw some signs for Antiques but didn't go in those stores as its not my thing. Online search will give you store names. Maybe you can call if you are looking for something specific.
