We were so surprise by this gem area. They did a great job in decorating for Christmas. Traffic was bad but manageable and everyone was so nice.

The full main street is full of various gift shops, eating establishments and fun places to visit. During the Holidays the entire street is decorated and all holidays give the locals and visitors a fun place to hang out. The vintage Railroad that goes from Grapevine to The Stockyards in Fort Worth is also a treat for all ages.

Okay, so this is a hallmark movie kind of town. In the spring, summer and fall they have a farmers market and craft market in the town square on the weekends, and in the winter it is Christmas lights galore! Most of the stores down there are locally owned and have character. There is even an old movie theater that... More

Love going here during Christmas. They decorate the entire town. The square gets a huge decorated tree, a sleigh, Santa photos and a cute decorated gazebo. There's great shops around for last minute shopping. Great place for family photos, as well.

We had so much fun riding the Polar Express. Took friends with us and the girls had a blast meeting Santa, visiting the blacksmith and taking lots of pictures. Defiantly a family thing.

If you are staying at the Gaylord, do yourself a favor and take an hour or so and visit downtown Grapevine. It's an adorable, area with a country store, a small but cute vintage shop, other "small town" establishments and a host of restaurants to try. There is also a glass blowing place to visit and remember to pick up... More

We arrived in the morning (around 10 am) so plenty of places for free parking. Walked down main street to the little shops, took pictures of the Christmas display and stopped for lunch. Nice way to get you into the Christmas mood without big crowds.

Very quaint main street. We were disappointed though because the majority of the businesses were closed on New Years Day. They had the area decorated for Christmas which was really nice.
