On this night we enjoyed dinner, then as we were walking home we discovered some tiny winery tasting rooms scattered along Main Street. The wine is nothing to write home about, but the convivial atmosphere and unique decor of each was truly intoxicating.

You got to take the train from here while visiting, it can take you up to Fort Worth and back or a little ride, (check schedules), as well as the shops and restaurants that are around it. Events here are fun and there are several throughout the year.

My husband and I spent the day in Grapevine. The main street with the independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants are fun to wander around... and to get some great purchases (got to love the Texas sparkle in the clothes and boots). Also worth a little detour are the Grapevine Botanic Gardens. They are small and compact, but really nicely... More

Main Street is a quaint street with many little shops including souvenir shops. chocolate tasting and wine shops. There are many restaurants to grab something to eat or relax with dinner. You can ride a steam engine train for a short excursion;(train dresses up like Thomas periodically); tour the train yard; ride ponies if you are a child; attend the... More

The historic downtown area is beautiful. Some of the building have been carefully restored while others are new. The new ones are very authentic. Great care has been to preserve the integrity of the historic area. We took our grandchildren to see Thomas the train and they loved it. The historic area has many attractions, shops and restaurants. We found... More

If you have 2 hours to kill and want to stretch your legs, this is the place to go. Quaint small-town setting and interesting shops and restaurants. The General Store is great for getting all of your souvenirs in one spot.

Went to see Thomas the train. The family loved it. It was fun. There was a lot to do. Food, games, lots to see. Really enjoyed my visit.

We had a quick trip to Dallas and decided to spend a few hours in Downtown Grapeview and we are so glad we did! The shops are eclectic and the shop keepers were friendly, helpful, & welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with the ladies in The Hole in the Wall & the chocolate shop next door, they made an enjoyable day... More

We visited family numerous times before stopping by. There are some good restaurants and this is such a pleasant town to walk through with kids.

There is much to see and do on Grapevine Main Street. It reminds me of my hometown back in the 1940's. I would compare it to Galena, Illinois.
