So I came to this winery in the off season and I booked the lunch with the tour. I absolutely fell in love with this place. When arriving I was welcomed by 3 dogs.. "the welcoming committee" loved this... The grounds were immaculate and I want to say "Martina" maybe not her name.. really was knowledgeable about the winery and... More

We visited Manousakis winery in September of this year. We had booked a lunch reservation and tour with them online, but unfortunately upon our arrival, they had no record of our booking. We had an email confirmation of our reservation on hand, which the staff reviewed, but insisted they received no record of in their system. They apologized profusely and... More

Quitar nice place to visit? How ever you feel it, it's a bit commercial but well organised. Nice lady with I think knowledge about wines, a last on this winery, on Crete worth to see

Thank you for your review! Even though it is easy to do so, please don't confuse our professionalism with commercialism. There are 2 of us that run this winery and a total permanent staff of 10! The true definition of a family-run winery. More

We were hoping to have the experience that our friends (who are wine professionals) recommended to us, but we left feeling unfulfilled. Setting was serene but was missing the Cretan hospitality we have been enjoying in nearby villages. Staff was pleasant but impersonal. Although we were a small group, there was very little interaction with the employees like we have... More

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you felt your experience was not what you expected. We do try and give some space to our customers tasting wine, given that this is a personal experience; that being said, the day you came, we were quite busy and our staff did the best it could under the given... My husband and I recently did the simple wine tasting tour. We have done winery tours before in other countries but this was the first where we actually saw how the made the wine along with the history of the winery, which was fascinating, and our guide was very knowledgable.

Got lost on Crete, fell into their winery! There was a large tour group there, but they were very kind to seat us and allow us to order a cheese/olive tray (there food is not made on site). They were so informative and friendly. The site is beautiful, we can see why they would have Wedding receptions there.

Traditionally wines in Crete have a reputation of not being very good, but the wines here were very nice! The tour was good and informative of the founder as well as the making of these wines, and the tasting made one want for more. Will recommend others to make a trip here!

We had a lovely time at the winery. The tour was informative and interesting whilst also concise. We opted for the light lunch which included a taste of 5 wines, a range of traditional Cretan dishes and 2 glasses of wine, at €20 excellent value for money. The only negative is that perhaps we could have been advised more about... More

Nice area just south west of Chania. Nice terrace for wine tasting, and superb wines to discover and taste. Afshin and Alexandra are doing a great job in developing the winery...

Really interesting tour of the winery with very knowledgable guide plus cute winery dog. Excellent wine tasting and a couple of glasses with a superb light lunch. Thoroughly enjoyable and could have stayed all day. Left somewhat merrier and relaxed . Definitely would visit again.
