We were in Houston for a conference and wanted to try some of the local breweries. Under the Radar was on our list.

We came by on Saturday morning with the toddler and dogs to enjoy the shade trees and games. The place is kid and dog friendly with water bowls for the pups and corn hole and wooden jenga games for the kids (and adults!) Having not...More
Visited on a Sunday afternoon in June. Small place, tucked away on a quiet street. I would describe the ambiance as “industrial”, but in s good way. Tables are set outside for the customers. Nice selection of beers. Friendly staff.
Decided to visit this micro brewery today. Ordered the Mid Frequency IPA at 7.1% alc. good hoppy beer. Henry the bar keep will take care of you. Set up in a garage in the 69/Third Ward area. A bit of a crawl but worth it.

I stopped by Under the Radar on my last trip to Houston. It was my first stop after landing at Hobby. The beer is good. The grounds promote a neighborhood party attitude. The staff is friendly and hardworking! It is worth a return trip!
