I went to Rice and the changes to the campus over the years are beautiful.There are more schools and lots of fine arts, photography and cinema schools now.

We came to Houston to meet friends who really wanted to see Rice University. It is the most beautiful campus. We had a lovely walk through the campus.

I have seen many college campuses and I would rate Rice University average. If your time is limited I would find another attraction.

5000 plus oak trees, very old buildings with stunning architecture. Art throughout campus with great little store all things Rice Owls. For a real treat come for a baseball game, great little field with view of medical center at night.

Not a "must see" place, but interesting if you have a few minutes to drive around the campus. The surrounding residential areas have some beautiful homes to see.

Usually you have to pay to park. Five dollars I believe. But the tennis matches are free to the public.
