Garrison Brothers Distillery is Texas' first and oldest bourbon distillery....

Garrison Brothers Distillery is Texas' first and oldest bourbon distillery. Our bourbon is hand-made from corn to cork right here on our little ranch. Tours are Thursday through Sunday @ 10am, noon, 2pm & 4pm. We'll teach you the entire process on how great bourbon is made. You'll taste our sweet mash, sample our white dog & end your visit with a taste of our fine bourbon. We strongly encourage that you call ahead so we can place you on our tour schedule.

Great whiskey! If you are passing through Hye (not hard as we usually hold our breath passing through on way to Austin) take a pit stop and visit these folks. They are making a great spirit! Easy tour plus free taste!

We made the one hour trip from Austin, TX to Hye to discover the first legal whiskey distillery in the state. The theme of our tour was "from corn to cork", and we could not have enjoyed it more. The entire staff is exceptional, and we learned a lot about how their bourbon was made along the way. My son... More

Esposa and I went on a Sunday. We were the ONLY customers there for nearly 1 hour. The female staffer was super friendly and told us everything we needed to know about the history of the distillery. Esposa and I shared a tasting of 4 whiskies. The first two were blends and the last two were single-barrels. The staffer made... More

Brought my adult children on the tour over the Christmas holidays, and they loved it. The tour was exceptional, with details about the entire production process and samples of the bourbon at every step--mash, distillation hearts and finished product. Owner, Dan Garrison, provided much of the tour, was informative, personable and really funny! GB bourbon is on several Top 5/Top... More

Garrison Brothers Distillery puts on an excellent tour. It was very informative, very fun, and it was given by the owner, Dan Garrison. You have the option to bottle your own single barrel and label it yourself. My 11-year-old had a blast! Military get a free tour and a 15% discount on everything else.

We met friends at the distillery and had a great time. The tour was incredible in addition to getting to meet "the Garrison Bros." It's very informative, tasty and the views are awesome. You won't be disappointed.

How can you go wrong with a tour offering beer, wine and s'mores while you wait for your tour to begin? From the start, we were welcomed by genuinely friendly staff. Along each part of the tour, we were provided great information and attention. Love the bourbon sipping glasses (for sale in the gift shop).

My husband and I went with my parents and we had a fantastic time. They really paid attention to detail when they built this place. I've been to another distillery tour and this one blew it away. The team of people we met clearly enjoy working there. They are very funny and make this tour interactive (lots of taste tests).... More
