Can't believe it took us 4 years of trips to Lubbock before we finally decided to go see this gem. Has a wonderful movie-on-a-loop to hear the history of Buddy's life. Great museum with cool artifacts that will help the visitor travel through the beginning roots of rock and roll, and learn about things such as how the Beatle's got... More

quick visit for a restroom stop and photo op. Didn't see the actual museum. IN a nice area. Be sure and check out the statue across the road.

This place is "ok". Not exciting unless you truly love Buddy Holly. There's nothing really fun to look at. Just the same ol', same ol'. The only thing that changes is the art work opposite Buddy Holly museum. Save your money and go when it's free. Every 1st Friday of the month. They have snacks and appetitzers and OVER PRICED... Loved finding out more about the real person. nice things to see in the museum but would of liked to either be able to take pictures, or to purchase ones of some of the exhibits. Liked seeing the different guitars and his... More

Any Buddy Holly fan would love it. It's pretty small which was a bummer, but it was put together very well. I didn't think it would look as nice as it did in the exhibit but I was impressed with how everything was displayed. There is also a short 15 min film to watch about Buddy. There is a gift... More

We all enjoyed the museum. Kids ages 5, 8, 9, 11. It was a really nice family day. The kids favorite was listening to an actual phone call Buddy Holly made.

In this house they co-wrote "That'll Be The Day" and other hits. Holly was the first major Rock Musician to insist on and get complete... More
