First, this place is very small & easy to miss. It's literally in the middle of nowhere & about 2-3 buildings. Previous reviewers have covered it all pretty well. It's very laid back, not a lot going on, sometimes there are bands or "pickers circles" of musicians. There is a general store which sells LOTS of tourist souvenirs (t-shirts, mugs,... More

If you blink you'll miss it, but I loved Luckenbach! It has a very laid back feel. I enjoyed browsing through the General Store which was stocked with interesting and nostalgic items. Sitting out behind the store in the shade next to the small stage where live music plays in the afternoons is so relaxing. It's a good spot to... More

Ok, so what does anyone know about Luckenbach except from the song? So I'm not saying don't visit, but don't expect too much to be going on if there's not a big event happening. We went and I was glad we did. It's very small and quaint. The town itself just has a few buildings and a stage. There were... More

We went on a Saturday. My husband has been waiting and waiting to visit Luckenbach. He rated the store and surroundings a five, but I would have said a three, so four it is. It's rugged, old, and packed to the rafters with stuff. Tourists go crazy in here. A bar is attached to the back that can be entered... More

We went to Luckenbach yesterday to check it out. The gift shop has lots of interesting souvenirs, some very chill cats lounging around, and a quaint bar for some refreshment. We visited the dance hall, too, but that's another review. Worth the drive that's off the beaten path.

There are many Luckenbach treasures in the General store for purchase. Some interesting decorations and of course Willie and Waylon CD's. I was there during Spring Break so the store was very packed and that made leisurely walking around inside a challenge but, as is tradition a photo was taken outside of the General Store. There was a longhorn steer... More

Luckenbach lives up to its reputation as being a place to relax, listen to music of all sorts, and enjoy a cold one! Off the road a bit, but must go because "... everybody is somebody in Luckenbach ..."

Love this little rustic quaint place! Stop in to enjoy a place with so much charm and character! A big tourist place considering the size of the place! There is a country song dedicated to the little place!

When passing through Fredericksburg, one must stop at Luckenbach. The General Store is very small and on the weekends can get crowded. We arrived just before a band did that was scheduled for that Saturday. What fun. There were several unique items in the store and we would have loved to browse longer but the line was long. Regardless, it... More

My husband and I stopped by the general store to have a look around. It was rustic and well worth a stop in to see the general store with its myriad of things to purchase and just the history of the place. They have a small bar to the back of the general store/post office (not a working post office)... More
