This area of Texas is a hidden gem! We went to Marble Falls to explore a new place, not realizing that the place would be filled with scenic views from every hillside. The water was clean and clear, and the ever changing light made for beautiful photos. We went to the holiday walkway of lights near the water in the... More

We had a great time. Is a small town that celebrate Christmas Sind 23 years ago, with there own lighting show at the Lakeside Park. It's free, had concessions and a live Santa. There are many Christmas lights figures all shapes and colors.

So, years ago, there was a falls at Marble falls. But when the Colorado was dammed (making a series of "lakes" out of it), the falls was covered. There are times--last was years ago--when the water level is low enough from letting it out, or drought, that you can see the falls. If you have a chance to, go! Otherwise,... More

We had a couple of days off and took a road trip to Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls. This place is just beautiful with good variety of places to eat. The view of the river is very nice too. There are events pretty much year round, But you must find time to see the lake.

My husband and I have been to Marble Falls many times at different times of the year. We go to the Walkway of Lights along Lake Marble Falls every year. The winter holiday light display is just as beautiful as the light display in Austin but without the unruly crowds. We always eat dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Lake water was superb. As always. A bit cludy and cool so minimal boating. Early morning arrival provided us "galss smooth waters".

Lake Marble Falls is just beautiful. Right on the south edge of town, it is a gem of a place. Homes and lodging all along the shore. It is a great place to stay. A great place to play. A great place to see. Just gorgeous.

The City of Marble Falls sits on a lovely lake. Smaller than lake LBJ but also calmer. It is usually not that crowed unless there are boat races or a fishing tournament. Boat and ski rentals are available at the marina. The area is super casual so you can leave your tie and heels at home. Great for couples of... More
