Went here on my last day in Guatemala (10 day trip) and have to say it was the high light of my trip. This old man Jorge meets you and takes you on a boat ride to his island, and there you can swim in...More

Great place to chill for a couple of hours on a hot day- down some cold beers and just enjoy the warm waters of the lake. Oh, and if you can find my mate's watch- it's somewhere at the bottom!

My teenagers loved it! I had a great time swinging like Tarzan. We went near sunset. There were not lines and it's beautiful.

We hiked there along the lakeside... that was an adventure. I guess most people take the boat. The rope swing was fun for about an hour, we did not stay long because we had to hike back.

Yes. Lake Atitlan is very polluted and at a higher altitude. Flores is much cleaner and warmer.

Water is fine here, no one in our group of 7 had any problems after spending an afternoon at the swing. Its a beautiful spot, I recommend staying for the sunset. Just bring lots of bug spray.
