Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

To get there, from the car park above, there is a staircase complete with a handrail, practically accessible to everyone.
In October, until around 11, there was only us. Then other people and some families arrived so, following a small path to the right (looking at the sea), we moved to the naturist area, very beautiful like the previous one (except the entry into the water was a little more difficult due to the larger stones). large). In the afternoon this part also became lively (which makes me foresee that in season there could be a real crowd...) but the atmosphere has always remained relaxed.

Have visited this lovely little spot on a few occasions as I live relatively locally. Happy to say the beach still retains its charm, it’s clean and the water is crystal clear. Disappointing to see however that the wonderful cafe that used to serve the beach has now closed, seemingly permanently as it no longer exists. Not sure as to why, given that it was hugely popular. A real shame.

The Kape Beach is a crystal clear waters beach, set in the vicinity of the Poseidon Temple at Sunion.
However, to reach it it requires many steps to walk down from where you park (and of course upstairs when coming back). It could be an issue for elderly people or for those with reduced mobility.
I also suggest bringing your own food and drinks.

I have been to this particular beach twice, once 15 years ago, when very few people knew about it. If I did the Cretan 15 years ago it would get 5, but now it's not good. I went in August, early in the morning to see tents almost everywhere, ropes with towels spread out and pareos and bocha.... the bocha coming down the steps was very intense because apparently the campers there defecate all around and the place stinks , I honestly wonder...

Nice beach, a little stony in parts but the water is crystal clear and the view is spectacular. It can get quite windy at times.

On our last day we wanted to hit one last beach So this beach is awesome
A great changing room and Minnie taverna Great drinks and pizza.
Clean restrooms and a fresh water shower for after. The water was marvelous. Clear and clean. Not like the polluted Athens beaches. And it’s near Poseidon’s temple So you get 2 great activities

Pristine waters in a beautiful setting but it gets annoyingly crowded. Perhaps expexted, given the hype and its small size. Not much fun, given the need for social distancing

We chose to visit this beach on our last day in Greece. Its only 30-40 minutes away from the airport. Its a small pebbly beach with a steps down great for swimming and super clear for snorkeling, loads of fish and even cuttlefish, only shared it with 6 other people. If you get to watch 'little drummer girl' on BBC this is the beach which was supposed to be Naxos, we were very surprised to spot it after we had just visited.

Very nice beach but social media has taken away the quaint value this spot had. As much as it can be nice avoid it unless you want to sit on top of people. With the new cafeteria you are better staying in Athens....
