My visit to Vouliagmeni Lake was a surprisingly nice experience. I did not swim in its healing waters due to my phobia for lake water but I had my evening coffee while enjoying the astonishing lake view and the sense of luxury it creates. Visitors have to pay an entrance fee but the experience is rewarding.

A visit in October to Athens doesn't necessarily leave you any dreams for a good swim in the sea. But thanks to the lake in Vouliagmeni I could make my sweet swimming dream come true even in October! Water temperature is 25 degrees Celsius all year round. Personally, I didn't feel 25 as hot as it sounds but it certainly... More

Lake Vouliagmeni is a natural lake which provides spa like effect. The temperature year round is between 20 - 29C. We were there in Nov and the temp was still 23C. The lake has Garra Rufa, or Doctor Fish. As soon as you dip your feet in the water, hundred of fish will start eating your dead skin. Initially the... More

Nice discovery! Perfect spot when you are too tired of the buzz of Athens. Can be combined with excursion to Cape Sunion, as we did. A bit pricey, but this keeps the number of visitors down which is a good thing, as the facilities aren't huge. Perfect for a revigorating swim in thermal water. (I am not a fan of... More

A uniquely located place with its lake a few meters away from the beach. Loved the location and the view!

Picturesque location. And the doctor fish are amazing! Very peaceful. Water was warm and staff were very polite.

If visiting with children just be aware that's it's rather deep.. I wish I'd have brought arm bands or boards. However, the children still enjoyed theirselves. Don't know about hot springs though, the lake was really chilly!

7 euro entrance instead of 12 euro. Some kind of offer. Perhaps due to off season. Decided to have lunch there - bad decision! Super slow service. Food below average :-( tourist trap.

Very special place to visit, take a swim, spa, have lunch or dinner. It's an unexpected natural phenomenon. The water keeps a temperature a few degrees higher from that of the sea and makes it very pleasant to swimm all year round. A bit expencive but worth a visit.

Wonderful thermal spa waters. A whole restaurant and bar opened around it with overpriced continental food options. I visit the place to everyone with scars or skin problems. One you enter the lake, hundred of thousands of little fishes start eating your dead-skin. excellent experience.
