Hidden in the pitoresque Jordan, Ontario, countryside but still close enough to the QEW, this old house showcases samples of traditional cheese made with milk from the English cattle originally from Guernsey island and imported in Canada a couple of centuries ago. You can sample tasty creamy cheeses, firm and aged ones, sligtly fattier but richer in vitamin A and... More

Our hostess was amazing. She described the various cheeses and allowed our small group of four to sample. The cheeses were delicious. They sell only the best of their various kinds. Everything is monitored as to best quality dates and sampled for the finest flavours daily. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. Lucy from Brampton, Ontario.

After eating comfort cream at other restaurants I was very tempted to buy some. Me and my husband just made this hunt a day trip and drove for it. It's a very cozy store, good cheese tasting and knowledgeable staff. We for sure left with a bag full of cheese!

We were prepared to buy a variety of cheese and spreads but were ignored at counter by two employees - there was no attempt to recognize we were standing waiting to check out and no eye contact was made. Very disappointing. We left without making purchase.

This was a good stop to consume something other than alcohol. We consumed some cheese, salami and crackers outside on their picnic tables. Cute things in the gift shop.

Made a quick stop in here to see what was available. The employees were so kind and offered samples while they explained the cheeses. I know they are trying to sell the cheese but they were not "salesy" or pushy at all. Very friendly and laid back. I loved their cheeses and bought some blocks. Fresh and so flavorful. This... More

When I walked into the cheese shop I was excited to see the free samples in the cheese tasting area! The knowledgeable staff walked me through each of the cheeses, their aging processes, and other information on each. They also baked their own fresh break, which is ready within 5 minutes. A staff member noticed us looking at the bread,... More

From the second we walked in, we were greeted with impeccable service and the chance to try a large selection of cheeses that are offered in the shop. I think that it is important to note that I am allergic to dairy (the WORST) and could not eat any of the cheeses. HOWEVER, witnessing the experience gave me a different... More
