The Muritz National Park is 'only' about 20 years old, so don't expect total wilderness yet. You can visit the park by car, boat or shuttle bus. We had only a couple of hours before we had to go on a long drive back home. On the map was a road leading throughout the national park. When we drove towards it there was a sign saying that we needed to pay for the NP to be able to drive through. I recommended to go to the visitor... More

We "did" the National parc on a boat, there are several possibilities. It is a nice way to see the national Parc and if good weather a nico boat ride.

just stunning and extraordinary, relaxation pur. You can hike, cycle, swim in the lakes, watch wildlife. a wonderful nature reserve

Great nature, lake views, birds watching. You can do various hikes through the park, but the easiest way to explore it is on a bike.

The Mueritz National Park is a treasure, easily reachable within a couple of hours from Berlin, either by car or public transportation. It is comprised of hundreds of acres of beautiful forest, both evergreen and deciduous, dotted with many lakes, ponds and streams.
