This beach is worth a visit. Nice sand and plenty of space for beach games. Some days there are good waves for surfing.

I caught the train to Cavajal beach from Torremeulle where I was based, which lacked golden sand. It was only one stop at a cost of 1.80 euros. For those on a budget, I recommend that drinks and food be purchased at the reasonable priced...More

The sand is coarse and grainy so not great for sandcastle building but for shell and pebble hunting it is great. The sea is clear and clean and the beach has good bin and shower facilities.

Just like all the Beaches in this area it is nice and quiet and clean ideal for kids ,plenty of room. Not the golden sands of some places.

A lovely walk from the marina along the Carvajal to the old part of town . The bars, restaurants. And shops are plentiful although not all open at this time of year.

Unspoilt stretch of beach with very good cafes. The area is so quiet and restful. We enjoyed lunching inth efish restaurant right on the beach.
