Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stunning little beach with the best beach bar during the summer months. It's a lovely beach all year round. It's alot quieter which we like.

The best thing about Salou. Away from the noisy English bars, English food and English people. Perfect! Golden sands, with an amazing friendly bar serving the best cocktails.

I love the beaches in Salou ,beautiful oases of calm ,even the popular beaches such as Capellans Beach are really relaxing places ,pristine sands ,shallow waters and good beach amenities, my twin brother Stephen and I were here in August, loved swimming from here ,so nice ,if you're planning a holiday to Salou Capellans Beach is most definitely well worth checking out.

This is a nice beach but has a lot of steps to go down to it. I know there was an alternative path but wasn't wheelchair accessible for what I saw of it.

My preferred beach when I am in Salou, it is used a lot by the locals, it is at the bottom of the hill so a steep walk down and then back up.
There are sunbeds to hire if you want shade, I prefer to just lie on my towel.
The sea is clear, you can even see the fish swim past you (drop a few bread crumbs I didn't but I watched someone else do it. It is perfectly safe, no current that I could tell, there is a lifeguard and enough bins to put litter in.
Very clean beach, not sure why in England we trash ours with crap after a day out

I had a room at Salou Beach by Pierre hotel, only 300 yards away from this beach. We did not need to look for another one. Absolutely beautiful. Bar close to the beach, I have read here that it was expensive...well, if you pay 3.20 Euros for a good quality bottled beer, that's not expensive, when the waves of the sea are at your feet. Did swim at 21:00, in a warm sea, on 3 rd of September, and the bar was still open, for late night visitors, with torches and staff around. It was such a nice evening. Will have to go again.

great beach, it costs 17 euros to sit in the shade, and the little drinks shop in the middle is quite expensive as well.

It’s quiet and Not many people go there, a few ladies with naked breasts so if you take any men with you it’s best to try avoid settling near the naked-breast ladies. It’s got a beautiful view and a nice cliffside. By far the best thing about my whole Holiday. :)

Reached either by the wooden walkway from the main beach areas, by steep (very) stairs from the main road or by walking down a steep road to the car parking area this beach is mostly used by locals. During our visit it was spotlessly clean and the water was crystal clear void of litter and debris. There are public bathroom facilities and a small beach bar, highly recommend this for families.
