Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A typical Canarian/Spanish Puerto,
there is so much space around, that this place could be made into a 'go to place'
A little investment could make this place worth visiting.
But for now, unless you need to steer clear.

The Rep mentioned that there were stingrays in Morro Jable harbour so we thought we would go and have a look at them. The harbour is a working harbour with a couple of restaurants and not much else. it was a long walk and we didn't see any stingrays. on reflection i expect the best time to go would be when the fishing boats are unloading there catch.

The Port at Morro Jable is working port for all types of boats, from ferries, to fishing boats and a range of leisure craft. Along the edge is a smallish industrial area along with some living accommodation. You free to wonder around the harbour but bear in mind there are quite a lot of traffic movements of Lorries, Cars & fork lift trucks so it pays to have your wits about you. It’s worth the effort to get there to see the fish and Sting-rays close to the fish landing areas. We usually get a taxi down then walk back into the old town and along the beach back to our hotel.

Go to the port/harbour to see the local fishermen and to see the stingrays that make the harbour their home. It's a wonderful viewing and the walk around the port is really good to break up your day, just be mindful of the either uphill or stepped walk to get there and back, but definitely worth the effort

It is a working port, but this adds to the the interest watching the fishermen landing their catch of the day. Loads of fish to feed with bread and the bonus of the stingrays which are simply captivating and we saw them every day in the harbour section opposite the la Cofradia restaurant. Some days only a couple there but we saw up to 10 one day! Turtle nursery great for kids as they get tours but adults not allowed to see it all!

This little harbour is good for a short stroll and a seat by the water. We saw geese and a heron standing in a boat contemplating when its next meal would arrive. It’s clean and tidy and the turtle sanctuary is worth it all by itself.

Nice Tranquil place to visit and see Tropical fish and Manta Rays from the quayside. Easy to park and to spend an hour relaxing.

A lovely harbour, with clear blue waters, and lots of fish. There are a variety of vessels moored here, everything from tourist boats, to large ferries, but mostly small fishing boats.

Well worth the work from hotel which took 2 hours, it was difficult in places to walk to with push chair due to the steps. Once there amazing to see the stingrays.Turtle sanctuary worth a visit.
We did an excursion on Odyssee 3 glass bottom which was well recommended, the trip included transfers from hotel and lovely lunch. We were lucky to see dolphins.

Bonjour, il y a effectivement un marché à côté de l'office de tourisme, mais la principale attraction est de loin la magnifique plage de sable et le nombre impressionnant des surfeurs qui évoluent jour et nuit.

Hello, can anyone tell me if it is possible to get a bus from this port to Caleta de Fuste? I can't seem to find anything online.
Written 6 June 2018
Yes you can. Bus route number 10 covers this. It's about 10 Euros and will take up to an hour and a half. Google 'Fuerteventura Bus Routes and Timetables' and you should get the page.
