We were a topping at Calette de fuste, it was a long drive to here but since this beach is a recognised naturist beach we gave it a go. The drive off the FV2 takes the smaller roads which leads you to the most spectacular 12km drive I have ever had. It's not for the faint hearted as it pretty... More

My wife hated it I loved it! Long stunning journey into Cofete along a dirt track - wouldn't fancy driving it in the dark. Incredible viewpoint at the crest of the the road before you drop down to the beach. The beach 15kms long, largest in the Canaries, 3rd long in Spain and not a soul to be seen -... More

We have visited this beach several times over the last few years. Our approach is most often on foot following the clear track up to the saddle (the Degollada) and then down to the small habitation of Cofete. Best places to park are at the designated car park at Gran Valle or at the cemetery which is about 2km before... More

Breathetaking landscape and one of the most exciting treks by car. Watch the sunset for a moment of total bliss. Well worth the effort of concurring the raw mountain road

10km on unmade roads leads to this stunning beach. Why bother? Just call me a cynic. This beach is on the wild side of the island and has little in the way of amenities. A small family run cafe offers some relief at the end of the journey.

This is described by many as "deserted", "amazing" and a "hidden gem". Well, if you have been stuck behind a long queue of small hire cars on the very long and rough track over the mountain to get here you will quickly realise that it is neither likely to be "deserted" or "hidden". Also if there has been any kind... More

Don't have enough words to describe it. Beautiful, amazing, peaceful... this is a hidden gem. Worth the trek.

An amazing place. Truly one of the last untouched places on earth. Magificent beach which you have to drive a dirt track road for 15kms or so but when you get your first view of the beach it is completely breathtaking. Must be experienced

If there is one trip you must take it's on the Unimog from Morro Jable to Cofete. An experience like no other. The track is very rough but the ride in the Unimog is fantastic. The scenery is out of this world and as you descend from the mountain pass and view the coast at Cofete with its golden sand... More
