We spent the afternoon running up and down the dunes and the kids loved it. It’s perfect in Feb when it’s warm but not overbearing heat. Imagine it might be too hot for little ones in the summer? Lots of nearby restaurants. We parked easily...More

It is nice for walking around, taking pictures, going for a swim. Impressive for those who have never seen a desert.

We walked to the beach Playas de Maspalomas and went by the Dunas. It had a man made lake but the dunes are an awesome sight!

A must visit. Lovely walk from playa de ingles to meloneras across the Dunes. If you have children with you be aware that you will come across some nude sunbathers.

The start of the Maspalomas Dunes is about a 20 minute walk from the shops. There are footpaths across the dunes. It takes about an hour to walk across the length of them.

We are also returning in April. The weather should be around the low 20's. It can be quite windy on the dunes but the further you go inland away from the sea the more sheltered it becomes.
