The Yumbo is the biggest of the tourist centres in this area, and whilst all are built in the same concrete and style, this centre (on 4 floors) does offer more that the others. Plenty of people watching on offer plus loads of bars and cafes etc to suit all tastes.

Me and my boyfriend went here almost every night, made some hilarious friends and had such a good time, got there about 11 at night and didn't leave until around 5 every morning! Beware if your a girl you are not aloud to go to the toilet in most places (which I can kind of understand..) you have to use... More

By day this is a fairly ugly shopping centre but it comes alive at night and is worth a visit. This is the main area for gay visitors and has a wealth of bars and nightclubs catering for every taste. But don't be put off if you are just a casual visitor, have a walk round and see some of... More

Yumbo is the biggest centre and offers good selection of bars and shops. Casa Juan was our favorite. Cheerful staff. Sit and watch the sun set.

The yumbo centre is a great place for shopping, eating and drinking. It is also especially good for getting left to it - as some places are full of people trying to stop you and sell trips however I very rarely experienced this at the yumbo! Plenty of choice although it is a bit like a maze it took me... More

Plenty of shops but all very samey. Shopkeepers all seem desperate for a sale which is a bit embarrassing when they follow you. Lots of bars and restaurants and the place really comes alive in the evenings. Worth a visit.

Now If your going to the Yumbo centre and your a Big Guy, please remember that this is the Gay capital of the Canary Isles, I now know how a Lady feels when getting wolf whistled on the street, I am a big Guy and the main area of the Yumbo, which I was surprised is the Bear area, Now... More

We went by night, and it was an experience. Not describable, and you need to be reasonable open minded. We enjoyed the most the drag shows on one of the upper floors. Very good atmosphere, loads of fun and interesting people (mainly men).
