Island at the Edge - Working croft (small farm) where we raise rare breed sheep and produce knitting yarns, tweed and a range of knitwear. Knitting, spinning and crochet courses from half days to three days. Kilts, accessories and kilt hire. Small private tours and larger group tours welcome. Open all year, come along and meet the sheep and discover our world of wool. We are located on the A850 between Portree and Dunvegan Castle at Edinbane.

Just popped in as we were staying locally. Very informative talk with the crafter and picked up some very useful advice on knitting styles. If you are a knitter then well worth a visit.
