A nice eclectic little country museum, very friendly staff and it is worth the visit. It is located at the restored train station, remodeled to Texas historical standards. Learn about Paris, Texas history, local artists, and ancient artifacts. They have a rotating venue - Tesla...More

Though the museum was closed the day we went, it's still an interesting building and worth a stop, especially for train fans. It was built in the early 20th century and is a nice example of the fancy passenger train stations during their golden days.

after googling, i was ready to visit this museum but to my disappointment, it's open only on friday and saturday...in paris on a monday...the rating is not for the museum the timing but hey, it's a small declining town with lots of abandon buildings(downtown area)

I'd definitely rate this one high except it was quite small. The displays were excellent, it was exceptionally clean and well maintained in a beautiful old train station (love those buildings). The docent was very friendly. I have to ding them on the Alamo display...More
