Our family decided to stay in Port Bolivar over Spring Break. We found a cute house to rent that was less than a mile from Crystal Beach. The beach was very clean and the water was actually pretty nice. Of course it was pretty cold...More

Pros - close to the ferry, relatively new facilities, great ship channel view, beach is out front, plenty of room, quiet neighborhood, many restaurants nearby. Cons - no good place to park a boat and trailer, no outside electric outlets, no direct access over the...More

If you go to Rollover Pass in the morning before the sun comes up you can park your car, set your fishing poles in the water and get your camera ready for an amazing bird show!

We go to Crystal Beach 5-10 times per year and love the low key vibe. The beach sand is darker, so don’t expect Florida’s Panhandle beach experience. What you do get is a drivable beach that you can park right at your hangout spot and...More

A sunset at Crystal Beach is an amazing sight to behold. You’ll rarely see the same scene twice, but the water and sky never fail to paint a gorgeous picture for the residents and visitors of the Bolivar Peninsula.

The beach is nearly always nice, but better during the warmer weather. It is a good place to stop and stretch your legs or to spend the week, if you rent a beach house.

On the way to Port Arthur we saw a water tower of crystal beach so we visited this beach. It's nothing special even the beach was very dirty, covered with the brown stuff and trash here and there.

Nice beach and very quiet during Nov. Entrance fee is $10. Warm water still in November. Full moon at the night. Very beautiful!

Yes for little kids. $10 per car. Just go buy some Walmart towels. Cheaper and cleaner.
