These privately owned caverns were a great surprise. Having visited several more well know caverns, these were were well worth the $20 entrance fee. Small group tours are led by knowledgeable young men and women who allow ample time to ask questions and view the...More

I have visited many of the famous caves (Carlsbad, Mammoth Cave, Natural Bridge, etc.) and this is one the most beautiful of all of them! The tours are kept small, which is great because you're able to ask more questions and it doesn't get so...More

The caves are awesome & I like that they insist on preserving them by not allowing anyone to touch any part of the cave. I’m not a fan of the tour itself most of information is about the three guys who found the caves. The...More

What a wonderful stop! Our guide Rafael was very knowledgeable about the geology. You could tell he cares about the caverns and their preservation. The caverns are tastefully lit, without a lot of ugly wires running everywhere. If you have the time it’s worth the...More

This tour is with a guide. In our case a man who had been caving for 57 years and one of only two people allowed to step off the concrete path We had already seen Kartchner and Carlsbad. Each are spectacular. I think cave people...More

Yes, there are hand rails. There are many steps in the tour so be sure you are physically able to climb them all before you go.

They don’t accept reservations. We arrived just before noon and had our pick of sites. Not many, maybe 10. Electric and water, $25/night. (PS Cavern is GORGEOUS!)
