This nature center is a voice for dolphins wild and free, we do not keep them in captivity. We do have DAILY BOAT tours to take you out to meet them.

Our facility has touch tanks and marine exhibits to help all who visit understand how we can help save our oceans.

Our boats still go to meet our dolphins when the large tours do not have enough people to go we go for just four people

We have three teens. This was their favorite activity. Driver was very knowledgeable. Saw many dolphins playing and swimming around us. Our day was somewhat foggy...This did not hinder our experience at all. Arrive early! When you arrive you are met by a large, friendly turtle and a feel/touch aquarium. Also recommend getting ice cream and meeting parrots nearby afterward.

The dolphin watching tour was led by Scarlett and her faithful dog Rozzi. We met Scarlett at her house and then followed her to the boat launch in a gated subdivision. The boat seats 6 comfortably but we had a group of 4. On our way out, we were taught about the different birds on the route. We first encountered... More

OK, just to get this out of the way. We came here thinking there maybe some dolphin here, similar to the Sea Turtle Inc, where they would rescue turtles. This is a one man operation, and is very small and basic. He charges $3 pp, which was more like a donation for the work he's doing. I can tell he's... More

The dolphin experience with Captain George was fun and educational. I liked being part of a small group on a pontoon verses the loud double -decker boats . The dolphins were playful and often came up to the pontoon. Captain George made sure we had the best dolphin encounter without stressing the dolphins. Wonderful experience!

We called on Tuesday, the 27th to try to set up a dolphin-watching tour for sometime in the next couple of days. Scarlet was very helpful, informing me that a storm was due on Thursday so that Tuesday would be best and she found a way to fit us in. We arrived quite early and were able to visit the... More

We are so glad we went with Scarlet for a private dolphin watching trip. She is an amazing lady who has a passion for the nature, and is super knowledgeable about birds. Great activity for family with kids. In fact our friend's 12 year old son did the same trip with Scarlet for two consecutive days because it's so fun!!

We took an excursion after Christmas with my family with Scarlet and she was able to get us out to the dolphins. The dolphins did not disappoint. Scarlet is friendly and down to earth and our family enjoyed the trip. It was the highlight of our trip at South Padre. If you're ever down at South Padre Island and want... More

We went out with Scarlet and her dog Rozzi for a last minute dolphin watching trip. My children, 10, 8, and 4 years old said it was one of the best things they have ever done and I agree! Scarlet was amazing and we got more dolphin interaction that I ever would have imagined. We also got to see multiple... More

On a beautifully warm January day, my family had the pleasure of going on a dolphin watch boat ride with Scarlet and her little dog. First of all, if everyone enjoyed their job as much as Scarlet does, the world would be a much better place. Not only did we get to see dolphins feeding and playing, we also got... More

My family visited the sea life center during our vacation to SPI just after Christmas. They have a variety of displays that my entire family enjoyed. The videos also had a lot of info about dolphins. We went on a tour with Scarlet that was amazing. We saw dolphins in their natural habitat living free and happy lives. My kids... More
