We were very impressed with this museum, especially with the model train exhibit. A wonderful display of all sort of model trains! The volunteers were very knowledgeable and kind, and run the model trains on request. A pleasant surprise for our kids!

My husband and I ventured to Texas City to sightsee and learn more about the disaster that took place there in the 1940s. Very interesting museum and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Grew up in Texas City, so the museum was fun to see. We were in the area for my 50th High School reunion so seeing the museum brought back at loit of memories.

The museum was renovated recently and has a number of cool exhibits that relate to local history. Including a cannon that was recovered nearby from a civil war era sunken ship.
