This is not your big city zoo! It's small and you can see everything in one to two hours. The zoo is well kept and animals are housed in nice exhibits. A fun stop in the morning.

This is a small-town zoo that looks to operate on a limited budget. Most of the animals are native to Texas, but they do have a few big cats and monkeys. The highlight of the visit were the Peacocks. My wife is crazy about Peacocks...More

You know, it’s cool. Close in access to all the fun animals and they have a good scary snake collection.

I hear that the place was great before, but still recovering from hurricane Harvey. I loved the jaguar!. He's behind glass but very playful. Also nice Peacocks and monkeys.

Brought my 4yr old and older teen. We had a blast. Not to big but bit to small perfect. My daughter and teen loved feeding the animals the most. My favorite was the bird sanctuary. It had the biggest seagull I have ever seen!

This zoo, is small, BUT its worth it. The prices aren't outrageous like other zoos. You can take your time to actually see all the exhibits without loads of people in the way. They even have a show so often when a couple zoo keepers...More

I really enjoyed this zoo. It has a safari feel upon arrival at the front entrance with a wooden building. It was air conditioned inside the gift shop if you need to step in from the heat. The zoo animals were all great & friendly...More

This was a nice surprise. They brought out animals to pet. The lion and tiger exhibit was cool. The bird exhibit was creepy (in a good way) but the kids loved it. Nice little zoo! Would go again.

Stopped by here on a hot day, and really enjoyed the shade! The zoo is small, but you're right up on top of the exhibits, which is great with the big cats. The kids got a kick out of a raccoon who'd gotten into the...More
