Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

and wouldn't have without the bus tour that Waco had this magnificent park and ZOO! We didn't go to the zoo so can't say anything more then it does exist. But this park is huge. hilly and contains miles of hiking trails. I'm going back just to hike!!! We saw Lovers Leap where an Idian Couple is said to have leaped together from the cliff into the BOsque River because the female's Indian chief father picked another man for her to wed and refused to let her marry her true love Running Bear. This park again was a giant full of hills and trails. Very surprised to see this park.

This park is awesome with so many things to see and areas to explore. The statues are very cool and the different scenic spots are equally as exciting in their own right. We spent hours here on multiple days to get the full experience. The people of Waco are lucky to have such a gem in their backyard!

We love visiting Waco, and always make time to go through Cameron Park. Great for walk, a trip to the Cameron Park Zoo, or just admiring the sculptures along the way. Great way to relax after a long day.

Wow! What an unexpected great park in Waco. We hiked several of the trails, checked out many of the park's attractions and came away truly impressed. The park was clean and well maintained. Really a great place to visit!

We went to Cameron Park while visiting the area. We thought the walkway along the river was really nice, along with all of the statues. We climbed Jacob’s Ladder and drove to Lover’s Leap. The overlook was beautiful. Lots of people were picnicing and grilling all throughout the park.

We took our three young boys on some of the easier trails (a couple of the intermediate), and they did great. They are 3, 2, and 3 months (I wore him). We obviously didn’t go very fast, but it was very enjoyable, and the boys kept begging to go again. It’s worth it to look up the trail map to plan some trails if you’re going with young kids. I love that it can take as long or as short as you want. It was a great spot to get away in the middle of the city!

I used to go to college at Baylor University and ride my bike on the trails here 5-7 days a week. They are amazing! There are so many of them and we gave them all our own set of names. I went back to visit recently and noticed they haven't changed in 25 years. The park is still awesome! If you are a mountain biker and are thinking about going here, DO IT!!!

We drove all throughout the park and stopped at all of the overlooks and side roads. This park is quite large at 400 acres. It is hilly and very forested and has windy roads. Some of the overlooks show the Brazos or Bosque River and panoramic views toward downtown. There are many trails as well as picnic spots too.

A great way to relax in Waco and social distance away from COVID. Walk by the river, drive under the tree lined road through the park, or enjoy the views from a several lookouts.
Great place to watch the sunrise or sunset.

This was an unexpected surprise. We went to go see/walk Jacob’s ladder but ended up at the bluffs and on the best trail by the river! Great for walking, hiking and is dog friendly. Loved this park! Very well maintained.

The trail closest to downtown is I believe; I saw a family with one member in a wheelchair while on that paved trail.

I saw a splash attraction for kids near bathrooms and picnic area.

You know if your looking for a great place to grill out, the shelter at Jacobs Ladder is scenic and I would use the facility anytime. However, I would really suggest the pavilion at Lover's Leap. The view is "Off the Hook Awesome" and there are also indoor men and women's restrooms there. So you don't have to make a trip to the woods. Just sayin'...

will it be really crowded today because of the game? will I be able to find parking 2-3 hours before the game?

Given the small stadium and all the centralized activities near stadium and downtown, I would have guessed that Cameron Park would not be affected. What was your experience??

Wish there were like when I was kid. There were several, but now the only place available is on the main play ground area but there is only a place to romp and get refreshingly wet by an overhead sprinkler. There is a water park near by... sorry!

You know I think there are outdoor standing grills but no pavilion to shelter under in case of weather issues.
