This park is a good stop esp. for kiddos. The river view is neat. Sometimes the grass is too high and there may be “questionable” characters around.

What an awesome find while we were in Wharton. Never imagined such a peaceful and relaxing park. Steps down to the water, benches or picnic tables just a top notch place very proud of the city. Citizens should be proud of their town. Chef Gene

Clean and well maintained. Nice view of rice and bridge. Short walk to dinosaur park. A bit hokey. Nice rest stop in the area.

The park is really nice and the river was flowing pretty big when we were there. Everything was nice and green and blooming. It's worth a trip to stop and see the river.
