Our son, who was working in Ephraim for the summer, suggested we take the Skyline Road from Ephraim to I 70 on the way to Capitol Reef Nat'l Park. He had been on Skyline many times. Unfortunately, one section of the road was still closed...More

This is a very pretty road. It is not in the best shape for driving on. You may want to have a truck or SUV. But you really can't beat the nice green drive.

Great views ,and lots of things to both do and see, but not from a passenger car, you'll need a 4x4 truck or 4 wheelers to drive the whole road if you go up fairview canyon and go on the north skyline drive it's better...More

This is a must for four-wheelers! Skyline Drive is an exquisite wilderness road which can be driven by ATVs or four-wheel drive vehicles. The trail is usually good in dry weather, but it can get a little wild at times. We drove up to over...More

We stumbled on this beautiful drive while on a road trip. It is spectacularly beautiful. Mountains, pristine lakes, great side roads (dirt). If you're in the area, don't miss this. And if you're not in the area - it's worth a side trip.

We love to take this drive in the summer or early fall. I would not do all of it in a automobile, a few spots really require a vehicle with higher ground clearance. We don't need four wheel drive. Most of "north" skyline drive can...More

We drove this trail/road in August the day after a considerable rainstorm. This added enormous challenges to the road trip, and I suggest you navigate it with a high clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicle (which we did). The views are fantastic. The wildflowers are gorgeous, and...More
