Best time to go: Labor Day weekend. Water is warmer than beginning of summer. Need to make camping reservations with 4-5 months of anticipation.

This is a beautiful lake, Our one regret, which haunted us throughout the rest of our trip, was that we never managed to stop to get a raspberry shake! Don't make the same mistake we did!
