If I'm in the area by myself I like to play the Links 9 hole course. Usually accessible at any time, and a fairly challenging layout that you can walk or ride. Then there is the championship course which challenges Coral Canyon for best in the area. Not inexpensive but at times you can find deals on line. Terrific and... More

we traveled to the area to play it. In hindsight, and after playing courses in the Mesquite and Vegas area... out of the 5 courses we played, Sand Hollow ranked #5. Staff nice. If you're in the area, certainly a good place to play with great conditions.. but not in the upper echelon in the Vegas area.

This is one of Americas best golf courses... The terrain, scenery and quality of the layout makes this remarkable, but the deep natural sands make this unique! The grass roots are deep and healthy, the topography is amazing and because of the quality of the grass you almost never have a bad lye! I have played all around the world,... More

My only regret is our group could not finish because of rain (and lightening). We came off (and went back on) the course three times, trying to get it in. We did get to drive by all the holes on the way to and from the club house, and some of the finishing holes looked really tough to play. We... More

Sand Hollow's Links 9 hole is my favorite course in the St. George area. That includes the championship course at Sand Hollow, Ledges, Entrada, and Coral Canyon. The course is long and wide open with broad fairways. The greens are very undulating and quick, with generous space around them that bring all manner of short game shots into play. Fairways... More

I came to golf and I just ha a small complaint and was treated very badly by the golf pro when I complained. I was blown away that he managed a large nice course but would treat paying customers I. Such a fashion. I will never come back. Go to coral canyon they are nicer and it's a prettier course

Golf at Sand Hollow was great. The greens were green and the people were friendly. Would play here again any time I am in town. Best golf, scenery and service.

Pleasant course but over priced - no refreshment cart - we were a twosome but could not "play through" - no marshal present

One of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever played. The mountain vistas on the back nine are a sight to behold - 14th and 15th holes especially.

They indicate they are a championship course, and the cost to play this "public" course might suggest it's top notch and the management cares about the etiquette and decorum of golf. This was not my experience. They are inconsistent with their rules and messaging. The back nine can be difficult for the recreational golfer, but the lack of patrolling and... More
