Steep hike. It took us 4 hours. We are in our 20’s and 30’s. Most of it is shaded. I think it was pretty hard. I would never try this in the snow. I think it would be treacherous. Lots of doggies on the trail....More

This is an awesome hike! Beautiful scenery traveling your way up to an amazing waterfall. I have hiked this several times. Great photo opportunities as well. I enjoy the quiet sounds of nature and the challenge of a great workout. Bring water, fruit or light...More

I read some reviews, so I knew it was going to be a challenge. I'm not much of a hiker, so I packed lots of water, told someone where I was going, and set off. What I didn't expect was that the switchbacks in the...More

Didn't make it all the way to the falls, but still a nice hike. On day we went there was plenty of parking at base for your car. Agree with others that first 0.5 mile or so is rather steep but not too bad.

I've done this hike a couple of times and it's a perfect afternoon hike. It starts out with plenty of sunshine and you get sweaty with the switchbacks but eventually gets cooler in the shade. Worth the waterfall at the end, for sure

Awesome hike. In dry conditions it's an easy to moderate to the lower falls. Continue on to upper falls on moderate trail with lots of moderate PLUS stretches. Great scenery, great hike

We went around 9:00 am on a Sunday morning, plenty of parking on the trailhead or along the street. But when we returned at approximately 11:30 there was minimal parking. The hike seems to be just over 4 miles, and it took us approximately 2...More

The trail never closes. Snow and ice are present in winter and especially in the shaded areas of the canyon on shoulder months. Be smart about how far you go with the gear you have. It is often easier to climb up... More
