I didn't stay at the lodge, but I did camp two nights at the Goulding's Lodge Campground that is about a mile up the road in a canyon. The campground was surrounded by red rocks with nice, level sites. I didn't need to use my leveling blocks. Each site had a barbecue grill and table. There is a store, laundromat... More

Fabulous hotel with wonderful balcony views of Monument Valley. A 10 minute drive gets you to the 17 mile drive of Monument Valley proper. The hotel was clean and comfortable and had everything you would need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. There is a museum on the property that was the original trading post that started the Goulding lodge... More

In a word: Fantastic! This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is located about a half-mile from the main lodge/trading post. The house sits on a bluff and has remarkable views of the valley below and the majestic buttes. It is a very spacious ranch-type home with retro furnishings, a full kitchen, lots of comfy seating, and two fairly good sized yard areas.... More

Beautiful historic hotel in Monument Valley. All rooms look over the valley. We were on the third level (highest) just across from the dinning room. Rooms were of course older, but well appointed, even though they are smaller than more modern rooms, still wonderful. Weather was great, not too hot, not too cold. Dinning room had good food, breakfast, lunch... More

This review is only for the Jeep Tour of Monument Valley. Monument Valley itself was amazing with lots of beautiful views. The microphone/PA on our vehicle was not working well, the guide was also the driver. I could make out maybe 1 out of every 3 words he said. He really didn't add anything additional when we got off at... More

The lodge and restaurant are perfect for a one night stay while visiting Monument Valley. our room was on the second floor with a wonderful view of the Mittens. The Lodge is in need of a few upgrades but met our expectations. The staff were very accommodating. One complaint was the pink polyester/cotton sheets should be replaced. The restaurant has a... In a word...one of the best experiences in my life. The lodging was fine, nothing overly elaborate, but the setting and genuine friendliness of the hosts was what made it a memory of a lifetime. Our cabin overlooked the other rooms. Spacious and neat. We had a panoramic view of Monument Valley beyond. Phenomenal sunrise The local Navajo guides and... More

This was a 4x4 tour of Monument Valley with a very knowledgeable guide who explained how the Navajo people lived. The scenery was fantastic and the tour which lasted nearly 3 hours was very comprehensive.

The jeep arrived but no-one was sure what trip it was doing as there were no signs displayed. The Native American guide did not announce anything. Some people wandered off to find the right tour. We enjoyed going into areas of the park not visited by private cars. This was informative and worth the trip. I am never sure about... More
