As local residents, we spend a lot of time hiking, biking, and even gentle motorcycling on various segments of the trail. We are very fortunate to have these trails, and I feel proud to have been a part of continuing to allow the trail to...More

A perfect late summer day was spent walking up the hill (with a great piece of pie at the top), followed by an even better stroll back down to town. Worth the time.

This is a great day hike in the Ogden area. Snow still at top of mountain Memorial Day weekend so if you want to make it to the top, wear your hiking boots. Great views, great change in terrain. Takes about 7-8 hours round trip,...More

I must admit that I've only hiked portions of the trail. Those portions were easy, well maintained and led to other adventures for our family- we letter box. The trails are easy enough that our two year old hiked them no problem. The views beautiful!

I love hiking this trail, from either direction, at all times of the year. Last winter was fairly mild, so I hiked the south end (south facing) several times with no need for snowshoes. Fall is my absolute favorite time to hike this trail in...More

Traffic depends on which trailhead you start up, but generally the trail is clean and easily followed. Dog friendly, too.
