Fun for the kids to see all the train cars. They are able to climb some of them. You can take pictures on them. It is overall exciting!

This is one of the many museums inside of Union Station. There is a great display inside the museum which included information on "The Golden Spike." There is also a nice small model train running around one area of the museum. When you finish inside, go out and have a look at several engines and train cars. Be sure see... More

We come here frequently when the kids are tired of shopping downtown, or if we want an easy free side trip for an hour or so.

If you are looking for engines, guns, and classic cars this is it. Housed in the original train station the museum outlines Ogden's vast rail road history as well as showcasing Browning guns and classic cars. The huge model train set goes through 4 or 5 rooms!

Great way to learn about the famed Golden Spike and train travel. Several museums in one building for one cost!

Extremely well organized exhibits, with a great interactive area for the kids and very instructive displays for all ages. Ask to see the History Channel movie on the construction of the Trans Continental railway - it's fascinating.

We went back to Union Station in Ogden, Utah and took a look at the trains and museum. It was good to go back and look at the trains again. This time my favorite was seeing the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Torch Rail Car. It is a well done exhibit of train engine and rail cars.

I have enjoyed the railroad museum. they have a miniature railroad that runs through the rooms and is entertaining for the kids. Not a whole lot to do though

This was a ball! The grandkids took us to see the trains while in Ogden. It was super interesting and the gift shop was well stocked. You get to inspect actual Trains. No replicas folks😎 Must see if in Ogden Utah!
