Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was a nice walk from Union Station down to the County Building and back to look at the historic buildings and read the information plaques along the way.

It seems to mostly be made up up bars and restaurants, with just a few businesses mixed in. If you want to look inside Union Station you need to arrive before late afternoon or It will be closed.

I walked around this area in the evening while I was in Ogden for work, and really enjoyed admiring all of the historic buildings and shops. The Union Station museum is right at one end, and there's plenty to see and explore, especially if you take a leisurely pace. Ogden's trying to preserve the historicity of the area, so many of the buildings are over a hundred years old.

lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Social Axe a block off is so much fun. Down side was there were lots of transient begging for money and loitering/sleeping/defecating on street between 1:30-3:30pm. City needs to work to clean up area. We opted not to go back out at night due to this.

Might be fun in the evenings/ski season - but nothing to do during the day otherwise. Drove up from SLC to maybe find some cute shops or something and was pretty disappointed. Walked the Main Street for about a half an hour and besides tattoo shops and restaurants that didn’t open until later, that was kinda it. Not trying to be mean… just wasn’t worth the drive. Kinda thought it would be like Pearl St in Boulder or a funky street in Austin or something … not so much.

I stayed at the Courtyard on 24th St. So the 25th St was just out the back door of the hotel and across a parking lot. Fun atmosphere, lots of restaurants and bars. On Saturdays, during the summer, they have a Crafts / Farmer’s Market. That is a lot of fun and interesting. The buildings are from Ogden’s (infamous) past, and that is played up to the hilt. But in a fun way. If you are in the area, a definite place to check out for a fun afternoon.

We walked around after a few hours of skiing at Powder Mountain. Cute Main Street with a few interesting shops and restaurants. Glad we made the trek in. Visit Tona restaurant if you love sushi. Not to be missed.

We found this a marvelous place to kill time when we visited. At one end is Union Station with its museums, and all down the street are places to eat or interesting shops. Very pedestrian friendly, and has a slower calm to it than other tourist areas.

I grabbed dinner at this restaurant on Ogden's main street and was impressed with the sophisticated menu, unique cocktail selection and overall atmosphere of the space. The menu while not massive was creative and varied with offerings from handmade pastas to yak meatballs and elk tenderloin, cooked to order. Everything is cooked to order, which means I was able to adapt the Beef Stroganoff Pasta to come out as a vegetarian entree and it tasted delicious.
Utah isn't known for its craft beverage scene nationally yet, but the Ogden area is home to a number of craft breweries and even a distillery and the craft beverage program here was as sophisticated as any large city.
Groups should reserve the table with the spinning lazy susan that is awesome for sharing appetizers or even mains.

When I lived in Ogden 20+ years ago, 25th Street (and most streets west of Washington Blvd.) was a seedy place that you wouldn't want to visit after dark. Heck, you probably wouldn't have wanted to visit it during the day. However, it has been reclaimed from the riff-raff and is now a bustling hub of music, dining, art and other entertainment. I love that many of the new occupants have kept the buildings just as they were several decades ago, but have revitalized the area and made it something brand new at the same time. Warrens and Lucky Slice are great places to eat. There are a few more eateries that I'd love to try. Color Me Mine is a fun place to paint your own pottery. There are several clothing stores and other boutiques that are fun to stop at. Take a couple of hours to walk and browse. You won't be bored or disappointed.

Fun afternoon in Ogden. Found a lovely coffee shop. Spent too much money at the AMAZING vintage clothing store. There is something tasteful and classy for everyone in there.

Then had a nice Italian meal. If you have a spare few hours it’s worth a stroll down 25th.
