Great area and hotel. Snow was sparse due to a bad snow year, but was still nice. Great lifts which connect you with all the slopes and area Definitely would love to ski this area with good snow.

Overall, the skiing here was pretty good. Frankly, the other skiers tended to be more snooty than the crowd at Park City. I liked Park City better, but the resorts are about to be linked by one massive gondola to make the largest ski resort...More

I've lived in Park City for 10 years now. I have skied all 3 resorts in Park City. The Canyons is HUGE. I highly recommend NOT darting around the whole mountain but rather pick a lift / area to ski for a while and then...More

Visiting the Canyons was the icing on my cake for ski vacations. The staff at the Canyons is very helpful and friendly, the skiing is great, and the resort has so much to offer. I highly recommend taking a trip here.

In February I had 6 weeks skiing at the Canyons and Park City and I can report that out of Park City and Deer Valley, The Canyons is the best as far as interesting terrain (through the massive houses), long runs and sheer size. Park...More

The trails will appeal to all skier types. The trail grooming was better at the Canyons then what we experienced at Deer Valley which was over groomed and icy. The food on the mountain was very good and we especially like the smoked grill (Pulled...More

We visited for Spring break and the skiing was slushy at best. The runs did not have a 36" base, mire like 3" to 6". The resort should have closed down early. Many people injured on the badly conditioned runs, it was either slush or...More

I love the Canyons. The mountain is great for any level skier and the staff is so nice and courteous. The place is pretty pricey if you want food or beverages.

There is a NASTAR on the PC side of the mountain. There are also a series of races throughout the ski season for different ages. Check with the mountain on the schedule.

Small market in the base of the west gate for essentials. 7-11 at the turn to the main road. Smiths, Walmart (its the nicest one I've been too and has a good food section) & Whole Foods a couple of miles away.

There are several shuttles you can get to take you to Westgate. I would ask the concierge there for a recommendation. We have done this. Most of the developments at Canyons have shuttles that will take you into downtown... More
