My husband spent the day here. He liked the diversity in terrain and the challenge of the blacks and double blacks. The only drawback was that the overall ski area was very spread out.

We arrived in early January and spent a week here. Lift passes and lessons are quite pricey BUT there are no crowds and no lines. We put our kids into ski school for a few days but they had a different teacher every single day...More

We paid to just ride the gondola up for a scenic view, we did not ski here. It was fantastic! Gorgeous at the top with a nice lodge for lunch.

This was our first visit to Canyons. With Vail Resorts (VR) owning Canyons and our EPIC passes good there, we were ready to spend for lodging since we did not have to pay for lift tickets. VR is successfully taking market share by offering these...More

I've been to many ski resorts, but The Canyons is not for beginners. This was my third time skiing, I was able to manage, but I definitely need more experience for the black diamonds! My girlfriend's 15 years of skiing really did show in these...More

We visited this ski resort for the first week of January, which apparently is not peak ski season, so the slopes were not very crowded. But, our family loved it. You can get the biggest discount by googling the canyons ski resort and buying the...More

I'm not kidding--the plans for expansion are INCREDIBLE and the current formation of the slopes and lifts make for at least a week's worth of traversing, exploring, climbing, falling, picture-taking, racing, cruising, or whatever else your board/ski style may be. Less crowded than Park City...More

We stayed at a VRBO townhome which we loved and went skiing at the Canyons for 3 days. One day I went snow shoeing which was also great fun. They have very good instructors. I love the atmosphere of the Canyons.

There is a NASTAR on the PC side of the mountain. There are also a series of races throughout the ski season for different ages. Check with the mountain on the schedule.
