Historical Building
Oct 2020
We walked by this historical building in the downtown area of St. George. It is next to Town Square Park.

More than just a shade to park under.

Beautiful and peaceful place! Parking here was several degrees cooler than surrounding 2nd day of Summer sweltering temps.

Beautiful and Spiritual building
Jan 2020
This is a newly remodeled building owen and operated by the LDS Church. The tour is amazing and if you have an opportunity to attend a concert here, you should take advantage.

Recently renovated and beautiful
Sep 2019
We had a stake conference here recently and it was beautiful and full of history. Only problem is that air conditioning didn't seem to be working very well for a long session.

Another Amazing Building Story
Jul 2019 • Family
My wife and I toured the tabernacle which has an extremely interesting story. Another couple there on a mission trip explained the construction of the building and they were just as nice as the others we encountered at Brigham Young's Winter Home and the Temple. I'd highly recommend.

Beautiful!
May 2019 • Family
We go here frequently for concerts. There are different groups, school and religious. The sound is great, but sit on the lower benches, they're much more comfortable.

LOVE The Old Historic Sites
Jun 2019 • Solo
The Tabernacle has been well preserved along with other historic points of interest in downtown St. George. It's amazing what the pioneers of the 19th century were able to accomplish compared to modern day wimps.

Take the time, do the tour.
May 2019 • Couples
We hadn't planned on a tour when we stopped in but it was a very casual and brief tour. Our guide was well-informed and easy to visit with. The men and women who built these structures were amazing and dedicated and I am in awe of them.

Good LDS insight
Nov 2018 • Friends
If you want to learn a little about the Mormon religion then this is a good place to start. As well as being an nice enough building (it's no national cathedral, but it does have some interesting features), your guide will inevitably talk about the church organisation.

We were lucky to have a widely travelled and educated retired medical doctor giving tours when we dropped by. There's no particular timings to worry about - they will kick off a tour when there's a few people ready to go.

Definitely worth a visit for some Utah and Mormon history. And even if you don't want the tour - you can just have a quick look around on your own.
