The house was historically accurate and had significance to the settling of this part of UT. However, I have never felt so much pressure to take a Book of Mormon, etc.. It was even worse than visiting their Temple Square in Salt Lake City.

A beautiful and interesting house - lovely to be able to see every room maintained in an authentic state and learn about life at the time. Informative guides completing their 'mission' delivered a personalised account of Brigham Young's years in St George.

We enjoyed the visit. The tour guides were gracious and courteous. Regardless of any religious opinions one must acknowledge the determination of the settlers to establish the city as a clean and safe place. Found that great founding principles create a great society.

I didn't have tons of time so I told them that I only had 15 minutes and they made it work. It's pretty cool to see the house in very similar condition to what it was back in Brigham Young lived here.

We visited here with our children and had a great time. The missionary couple who showed us around were friendly and informative and it was a great opportunity to learn some of the history of the area. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit. :-)

The history of the building is interesting. I love old buildings and how they cam to be. This one has an interesting history with brigham young using it as his hideout or get away. Not sure which it is.

Great free tour of a home from the time of the beginning of st George Utah. This is Brigham youngs winter home and where he spent the last years of his life. It's a great home and very informative.

Even though I am not a Mormon, I really enjoyed the tour of this beautiful, historic home. We got there early in the morning and no other tourists, so basically, we had a private tour. Excellent guides tell the stories about the house and the man. Great way to spend an hour or two.
