Rapids fan has been to this stadium many times. I was at its dedication years ago. Beautiful setting with the mountains behind it. Lots of parking options, although I'd take the rail in rather than pay to park. Malls/food around the stadium, in walking distance,...More

We love attending RSL games at Rio Tinto Stadium. The atmosphere is exciting and family friendly. They've made significant improvements to parking over the last few years, which makes it much easier to get out after the game ends than it used to be.

We love this stadium for REAL Salt Lake games and the views are gorgeous! The firework shows are out of this world and there are quite a few during the summer. Nice venue with clean restrooms and food areas.

This soccer stadium is pretty nice. I’m not a big soccer fan but the stadium is nice and had great views of the mountains.

Plan on spending a few bucks. We spent $18 for 1 churro, 1 bottle of water, a box of red vines and a tub of popcorn.

Hello all! We are so excited to be attending out first game this July!! We are traveling from Michigan and doing a whole "Out West" trip with RSL and SLC on our final leg of the trip. We need a little advice about where to stay and what sort of public transportation is available. We would be staying near the stadium on our first night and then looking to travel up to Salt Lake City and spend the day/night up there before finally heading home from SLC airport. If we do NOT have a rental car for the portion of Sandy to SLC, is there public transportation that is available? Or should we keep our rental until SLC. Any tips or helpful hints you have for us would be great! We have been RSL fans from far away but want to be amongst the fun and craziness on our one game we finally get to see! Any local pubs or places we should check out!? Thanks so much!!!!! :)
