They used to have aweseome 80s and 90s nights. The last time we went we paid the cover to get expecting 80s night and it was the WORST DJ that we had ever heard. He couldn't stick with a beat for more then 2 bars, so you couldn't dance!

It is a dance club. It has no other real function but dancing. You can't talk and you can barely sit down. If you want to sit, go downstairs to Nector's. Club Metronome (or Retronome on weekends) is above Nectar's on Main St, right around the corner from the Church Street pedestrian marketplace. If I recall correctly - Nectars is the place where Phish got its start. It's a fun place to head on a Saturday night and people watch, without the wanna-be thug crowd.
