Exploring Burlington breweries for tastings!
Oct 2020
Dropped in for a tasting. They have a pizza joint on site also. They were not doing tastings this day but the bartender set us up with 2 x 6oz. samples each, for $10 so that did the trick. Great beer...tried the Yorkshire Porter (similar to Guinness), smooth and "coffee" notes Hefeweizen - light, Oatmeal Stout - heavy, chocolate notes. and Schwietzen (Saison) - light. Note: across the street from Zero Gravity Brewery...get a 2 for 1 !! All I/D!

Small & Nice Variety
Oct 2020 • Friends
It’s a small brewery with a good variety of beers. Owner is very strict with COVID rules (little annoying) - turns people away. Offers outdoor seating, which is nice, but no cover. Beer selection is much better than Zero Gravity which is across the street.

Great spot
Jul 2020
Excellent Heifenwezer beer and they also carry citizen cider Broze which was nice for our non-beer drinkers.
Nice outside seating and you can even bring your dog.

A good place if you're looking for more than just IPAs
Oct 2019
This place has a more interesting selection of beers than you typically see (only a single IPA on tap). It’s conveniently attached to a pizza place, too. The bar area is a little small, but there’s adequate seating/tables.

Make new friends and enjoy good dark beer.

Busy spot! Why, great beer and a super selection of darker options. I love the Barge canal an oatmeal stout the stands on it’s own rich bold legs with out sugary sweetness. Need this little darling in cans😁.

Finally! A place that doesn't have a kazillion IPAs!
Oct 2019
It's hard to be a non-IPA fan & find a good beer at a brewery these days. Queen City has a great selection of delicious brews that punch a decent buzz. Enjoy!

excellent choice among many brewery options
Jul 2019
So many to choose from, so little time. I chose wisely based on the available beers. The flight options did not disappoint. The option to order from adjoining pizza place is great, but I opted for just a snack. Plenty of parking, great price, but most importantly... the beers are great!

Great beer / staff / atmosphere
Jul 2019
Great selection of beer -- traditional mix plus newer brews. Porter and ESB were great.
Staff was helpful / knew the beer. Facility allows dogs inside which was fun.
Many brewery options in Burlington -- this one will be a repeat.

Lagers and German style beer
Jul 2019 • Family
Great atmosphere and the bartender was great! Beers weren’t our style and the quetzel was stale. You can order pizza, wings, salads and more from the pizza joint in the back.

Excellent Beer, great atmosphere
Jun 2019 • Couples
This is a wonderful find. They have a great selection of beer and really into different beers and brewing methods without the really odd-ball supposed beers. They brew the best Yorkshire Bitter, outside of the best brewed in Yorkshire UK. It's called Landlady (5.2). The Maibock is super and slightly sweeter than LL (but beware it's 7.2).
An excellent Munich Dunkel (5.5); an English style IPA called Argument (6.5), and NOT so crammed full of hops it tastes like the cough medicine your parents gave you, i.e. very pleasant.
We left with a 6 pack of Steinbier, nicely rounded malty flavour and a couple of Saisons after having had our way with a succession of taster flights.
If you want to dive straight in to something you know you'll like and get the chance to talk to Paul, the head brewer, he'll set you right.

Hi all,
Is QCB dog-friendly in the winter, too? Can well-behaved, leashed dogs, come inside?
