An educational, non-profit society to bring together those persons interested in history, especially the history of Grafton, Vermont; we work to discover and collect any materials such as books, papers, manuscripts, genealogical records, paintings, photographs, and artifacts illustrative of life, conditions, events, and activities of the past and present pertinent to the history of Grafton, Vermont View and experience the wonderful collections of Grafton artifacts creatively displayed in fresh exhibits that are changed annually. Our new gift shop, features wool fat soaps, books, bees wax candles,Henderson Redware, items from Cooperman Fife & Drum and much more.

We totally enjoyed this museum put together by the Grafton Historical Society. The extensive collection of artifacts and records available here give a tremendous look into the history of the town from 1754 to the present. It has everything from Vt. soapstone artifacts, to videos and books of Grafton's inhabitants, to larger pieces such as wagons and a fire engine.... More

Grafton is awash with history. It is literally all around you when you're in town. This gem of a museum adds a lot of details to help you really appreciate where you are. A very fascinating museum, way beyond what you'd expect from the modest outward appearance!

This well maintained Historical Society has great exhibits and wondeful information on the history of Grafton Village!! The staff were very nice and well informed!!
